Human joints
Osteoarthritis is characterized by deterioration of cartilage tissue that acts as a protective Cushion. When the susceptible tissues decrease, the bones will touch between one another. The friction continued on the joint involved, will result in erosion and causing pain in the joints. Part that is often affected are the hands and joints that carry weight, such as knees, hips, fingers and spine.
Besides age, several other factors should also be taken into account. Overweight or obesity, type of jobs –such as athletes or those who are actively involved in physical activities also belong to the higher risk.
Reducing weight also is an important step for individuals who experience osteoarthritis problems (if overweight). This is because excessive weight give stress on joints that accommodate weight, especially knees, hips and heels.
Glucosamine is a common prescription for addressing osteoarthritis problems. Body can produce small amounts of Glucosamine, a molecule that contains a brief glucose, which is usually found in abundance at the joints and connective tissue. Studies show that Glucosamine effectively relieve the pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis as well as helping improve the quality of movement and preserve cartilage.
Many studies have been done regarding the potential use of Glucosamine sulfate in solving osteoarthritis problems. These include restoring function and relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis. Studies also show that taking Glucosamine helps delay the tissues decrease. There are lot of evidence to support the use of Glucosamine sulfate. 1.500 milligram dose taken orally every day will give significant impact in reducing the level of the problem and relieve osteoarthritis symptoms.
