Do you know that just by walking 10,000 steps each day, you burn more than 300 calories? By choosing the stairs instead of an elevator or walking to a park further from your destination and making the time to go for a walk, it can help strengthen your muscles and bones.

Here are some tips:
- Find shoes that can double as dress/work shoes and walking shoes so you can always be ready to walk.
- Don’t email your co-worker down the hall, walk to them instead. Save the email and phone calls to talk to them for a closer contact

Think about it the next time you say hello to your colleagues and loved ones. Those few steps everyday can make you a fitter and healthier person! Also don't forget to reduce the carbs and only consume what your body needs to maintain a healthy living. Happy holidays!

I just finished reading 4 Shocking Secrets About Fast Food, from Health Yahoo and it make me think twice before taking my kids to McDonalds or any other fast food after this. It seems a nightmare to know what go through our body. Those horrible fast food ingredients are really bad and not suitable to digest by out stomach.

How to prevent Swine flu

World is shocked by swine flu a.k.a Swine influenza : swine flu, pigfluenza, hog flu, and pig flu. The virus attacking known as influenza A (H1N1) virus. The swine flu transmitted from pig to Human. The flu spread was reported in April 2009 in Mexico. Every single person now are worried about it and trying to find the perfect swine flu vaccine.

Officials from the U.N.'s World Health Organization (WHO), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the U.S., were expressing serious concern about the flu outbreak and might become a worldwide flu pandemic.

Widespread human transmission

The virus infects by human-to-human transmission. Investigations of infected patients indicated no direct contact with swine, such as at a farm or agricultural fair. The strain was later confirmed to have been transmitted between humans.

Prevention and treatment

To prevent infection by the virus, standard personal precautions against influenza must be taken. This includes :

Frequent washing of hands with soap and water or with alcohol-based hand sanitizers. Do not touch the mouth, nose or eyes ( these are primary modes of flu transmission).
If you have cough, coughing into a tissue and dispose the tissue and wash hands.
There is no risk of flu transmission from the consumption of properly-cooked pork products.

I had toothache recently. It’s killing me. Seriously I’m not comfortable to with the dentist. The special drill is trauma for me. I really hate it when the dentist starts drilling my tooth. Gosh, can’t stand with the uncomfortable feeling, very annoying.

What happen if in the middle of the night the pain starts on your teeth? Do you have any immediate action to reduce the pain? It’s terrible when everything seems wrong. You can’t enjoy the soft mattress or even the air-conditioned room.

My experience, I always got spares of mouthwash (either Listerine, Oral B or Colgate). Just spend a moment gurgle with the mouthwash. The mouthwash is one an antiseptic. It kills germs inside the mouth. I’ve tried this method, every time I feel the pain inside the tooth. Use the mouthwash as often as you can. It helps temporarily.

Even with the mouthwash, you still have to se the dentist to have regular check up. He knows better, either the tooth need to be pull out, or need to be fixed… again.. :(

ADVICE ; brush your teeth at least twice a day. Mouthwash can give extra protection for the teeth after brushing. Besides, you’ll have perfect smile and good breath for kissing :)

Sleep a.k.a Tidur....

My head still blank. I just woke up (10pm - 3am).... It was very hectic today for me. I went to Pasar Tani Muar at 6.45am (which I didn't sleep the night before), and home by 12.30pm. I had sleep at noon.

It takes about 1 hour for me to decide - either to go to pasar malam Tg. Agas or not (4pm - 5pm). Why? because I don't have enough sleep. So damn tired!

Do you know that we need sleep to make sure our blood have enough oxygen (O2).. (I'm not going to comment about this)... The thing is, when we don't have enough sleep, our reflex becomes so slow, and we need extra time to decide on almost everything. That's what happen to me right now.

Based on Dr. Fadzillah kamsah on '50 tips orang berjaya', most of successful people in the world sleep as one of their method of success. They try to find a break for sleep as it is will refresh and give energy back to your body.

Since I read that book, I try to apply the tips everytime I feel so tired, especially when I'm blank. So Ithink I want to take a nap now... zzzzzzzzzzz

p/s - I forced myself to write because I want to get 'something' from the internet, suddently my eBay popup manager shows one of my item sold... Alhamdulillah.
