How to prevent Swine flu

World is shocked by swine flu a.k.a Swine influenza : swine flu, pigfluenza, hog flu, and pig flu. The virus attacking known as influenza A (H1N1) virus. The swine flu transmitted from pig to Human. The flu spread was reported in April 2009 in Mexico. Every single person now are worried about it and trying to find the perfect swine flu vaccine.

Officials from the U.N.'s World Health Organization (WHO), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the U.S., were expressing serious concern about the flu outbreak and might become a worldwide flu pandemic.

Widespread human transmission

The virus infects by human-to-human transmission. Investigations of infected patients indicated no direct contact with swine, such as at a farm or agricultural fair. The strain was later confirmed to have been transmitted between humans.

Prevention and treatment

To prevent infection by the virus, standard personal precautions against influenza must be taken. This includes :

Frequent washing of hands with soap and water or with alcohol-based hand sanitizers. Do not touch the mouth, nose or eyes ( these are primary modes of flu transmission).
If you have cough, coughing into a tissue and dispose the tissue and wash hands.
There is no risk of flu transmission from the consumption of properly-cooked pork products.
